TFCF initiated foster care program since 1983. There are 22 of our Branch Offices providing this service now, they are: Keelung, Southern Taipei，Northern Taipei, Taipei County, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Taichung County, Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan County, Tainan, Kaohsiung County, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Yilan, Hualien, Taitung and Penghu.

　　Foster care is one of the substitute services of child welfare. When children/youths are abused or not able to be taken care by their families, this program provides them a home with love and full attention. In 2007, there were 946 new fostered children and 184 fostered families. Totally there were 2,594 fostered children and youths and 1,163 fostered families under our program.
